With InTheBoardroom, diversity takes a seat on the board
Valore D’s InTheBoardroom project: what is it and how does it work?
InTheBoardroom is an executive training programme that encourages the inclusion of talented people on company boards to help achieve inclusivity and gender equality.
The objective of InTheBoardroom is to drive a culture of inclusion within the company, starting from the senior roles, thanks to the insertion of gender quotas into company boards.
This Valore D project allows participants to strengthen and consolidate the technical and leadership skills that are required to serve as a board member with a focus on inclusivity, and to manage increasing diversity on boards and within organizations. In addition to providing specific training, InTheBoardroom aims to promote engagement and networking with experts through the sharing of experiences, advice and practical suggestions in order to fill, with awareness and professionalism, high-level positions that involve large amounts of responsibility.
Over the course of its first 12 editions, InTheBoardroom has trained a total of 500 people, who by successfully completing the programme have acquired all of the tools necessary for rising to the challenges of the digital transformation, innovation and sustainability that they may face during their career.
The InTheBoardroom project is supported by Borsa Italiana, part of Euronext Group, DLA Piper and Egon Zehnder.
